I did search for this but didn't see anything that answered my question. I have watched a lot of videos and seen some taping but not sure where and why. I have a 2008 dodge caliber that has black plastic rails from front to back. I put around 40,000 miles a year on this car and got it when they where doing the lifetime drive train warranty. So I want the body to last a long time. Do I tape off the glass, rubber weather seals, or what else and why. I see some of the test videos and the windshield is not taped but they are only doing a test spot on the hood. I am also confused about the space where the body panels marry up, are these off limits as far as using the buffer. Newbie so any help greatly appreciated.
