I recently completed this year's detail on my truck. This detail was more of paint maintenance as opposed to correction. There were some random spots here and there but nothing unusual.

Here are the particulars:

1. '08 TrailBlazer SS in Black Granite Metallic
2. Wash: Mother's California Gold Car Wash
Clay: Sonus Detail Clay

3. Polishing: Pads- Lake Country Smart Pads; 5-1/2" polishing (for random areas), paint clean/finishing, and final finishing pads. 4" pad(s) for harder to reach areas.

Backing Plate(s): Lake Country 3-1/2" and (almost) 5" velcro bp.

Polish: Sonus SFX 2 (small areas), SFX 3, and Paintwork Cleanser for the final polish.

4. Clean-up: Sonus Acrylic Spritz
5. Clean-up/Light Seal: Sonus Acrylic Glanz

6. Wax: Zymol Vintage

Even though I actually started this detail later than I would've liked, it did work out to what I was expecting for a start. I am looking forward to finishing out this year with a bit more wax, and hopefully more driving!!

Happy detailing everyone.
