While it was a new car and not in bad shape, there were still some defects to knock out

After correction

The "nose cone" was not in good shape. Lots of factory installed defects, sanding marks, etc

One its way back home

Fast forward a few weeks and the owner had an incident in a parking lot that did some damage to the front end, so she brought it in to see if it could be repaired without going to the body shop.

After working it over for a little while and recoating it, you couldn't tell the incident had ever happened!

Also nabbed a few sun shots while I had it since it was delivered back at night originally

Just a quick writeup but thanks for checking it out!

Impressive work!

Your trim looks impeccable. I have a week off from work and will be practicing this week a bit and finding it very difficult to effective tape the trim and not splatter. I know a lot of this is due to my only owning my GG for a few months now. How much did you tape and do you have pictures of this job taped?

There isn't much to tape on a Tesla...if you're careful. I definitely recommend all the lower plastic trim and also the rubber trim on the roof along the rails.

Also never polish over the tabs on the roof rails without holding them down. They are extremely flexible on the hinge and the pad edge can catch it and break it off before you can prevent it. Just keep a finger on them when you polish over them.

Nice job on that S. What I noticed especially was the nose cone. They come in such poor condition. I'm impressed with that nose cone reflection shot, and it's something I've tried to dial in with my own but never could do with that detail. I didn't think to coat it though.
