:wave: hi boys and girls
I had a few tester/ samples that were given to me to try out. Thought I would try and use as many as I could with this "from the depths of winter" detail. The car got snow foamed, washed, decon, and clayed. Most panels received a Polish Angel prep including Master Compound followed by Escalate polish before the LSP. The front bumper, hood and back end of the car received a good wipe down with Griots garage Paint Prep before applying Wolf's Bodyguard.:thumb:

Applied with a suede app cloth from CarPro and let sit for 20-30 minutes.

Removal was a breeze, stuff came right off.

In conclusion for the BG, I am very happy with the results. More importantly, the use of this product was very easy and user friendly, especially for a coating. I applied it outside ( tucked into an open garage), application and removal was simple. The only drawback is the long cure time, but I really didn't mind that. Kinda slows things down to a sane pace:thumb: it left an incredibly smooth and glassy surface.
Next up, I thought I would break out a custom pour from Son1c. - Goodywax
This hard wax smells deliciously of fresh squeezed limes. The texture feels grainy when first loading the applicator. Once on the paint, it spread very nicely. Buffed off with no problems after a few minutes and left a deep gloss and shine.

I used this on the two front quarter panels and also the passenger door.
Son1c Proto Bead
I applied two coats of this on the top of the trunk. This wax was a pleasure to use, with an awesome blueberry scent.

Next up is Obsession Wax's newest blend for testing. This was also what appeared to be a very hard wax. However, after a few swipes, this stuff was leaping on the applicator very heavily. A red wax that smelled strongly of cherry.
I was getting tired, so no application or curing shots. I did notice that when left to cure, this wax was kind of grabby upon removal. On the second panel tested, I removed immediately and it was a lot easier.
And another tester from Obsession wax. This one is from the winter that I hadn't used yet.
You can see it was very gooey, beyond soft It applied very nicely, spreading for miles, and actually smelled better being used than the smell from the pot. This wax removed very easy, and left a very glossy, wet, concours look.
All done, here's a couple pics.
The real test was the next morning. I have a busted in- ground sprinkler right next to where I park my car. Long story short, my car gets a shotty shower very other day at 6 am
I thought I would go inspect Sunday morning to check out the water behavior. The bodyguard was doing its job, looking lovely. Excellent sheeting and felt smooth as glass when wiped down. I was truely impressed with this Wolf's product, as it was very easy to use, I successfully applied it "outdoors", and like that it was recommended to go on in small overlapping circles as opposed to the typical criss cross coating application.
Second place goes to Son1c's Goodywax, as it sheeted most of the water and left very small tight beads. The Proto Bead looked good, but was in a tough spot(top of the trunk). I have noticed this area collects a lot of dirt and water due to my spoiler, but it was looking good.
Obsession Wax's newest (Red) also sheeted nicely and left more beads.
The "S" batch panels were a mess. They seemed to a attract, or collect the water beads, with little sheeting.
