With all the ungrateful posts lately about the promotions and sales, I figured I would share a thank you.

I took advantage of the 4th sale and forgot to add an item before checking out. I emailed Nick to add the item. This was after business hours Thursday evening. First thing Friday morning, I get a reply from Bryan saying it's taken care of. I also get another email from Danielle stating they applied the 15% off and made sure it would ship with my order. Why did I not hear from Nick? He had the day off, which I expected the entire staff to be off. Not only were they working, they took over for Nick.

I've seen a lot of complaining about percentage off, higher minimum shipping, etc... to me, excellent customer service is priceless. Sure, I would love 20% off with free shipping, but if I "only" get 15% off, I'll gladly pay the few extra dollars for the excellent customer service. You never know when you'll need it!

So thank you Bryan and Danielle. Your customer dedication is much appreciated.

I don't view all the post's as ungrateful. Sure, some (including myself) may voice disappointment in a sale that may not have enough incentive in it to place an order but I think

most are very grateful for this retailer and the forum community. When there's a sale most of us want to place an order. The biggest complaint is the new minimum for free shipping. It

cuts out the enthusiast for the most part. Don't get me wrong,I've placed orders above $150 but for the most part its been smaller orders. I think we're big AG fans just a little

disappointed in the shipping minimum.....At least for me. I stay loyal for the customer service. It's no secret the customer service is spot on as you stated. It's not ungrateful to say "Rats!I

wish the ship minimum was $75! This stinks!!" Its all good:dblthumb2: Just my 2 cents
 
Something to keep in mind. There will always be a segment of society that complains, well, just to complain. These are the folks who are only satisfied if they've gotten something for free. But then again they'd probably find fault with it too occasionally.

It would be interesting to graph the number of actual sales and compare them the number of sales complaints.....My guess is the it would be:


  • Sales - 99.7%
  • Complaints - 0.3%

I'll take this to the bank any old day!

As for myself - 100% Complete customer satisfaction with products, performance, customer service, price, value, variety, and special offers.....:props:

Autogeek is #1 in my book, period!! ....:cheers:

Well this looks like a good thread to speak about my recent experience with AG's customer service. I bought some pads during the Father's Day sale a couple weeks ago and one of the items I bought were the pair of flat, purple LC foamed wool pads. I tried these out at our Chicagoland Detail Day and was blown away, so I ordered some, problem was I have a 6" GG RO w/ the stock backing plate and the pads were 5.5", not interested in another backing plate either. So I sent them back via the USPS and sent Nick a PM and it was all taken care of. Got the email the items were received and I'd be refunded through Paypal within 5 business days, got the refund within 2 days.

Thanks to Nick, Meghan and the entire AG crew for always doing your jobs!
