I just wanted to official thank a few people that were a real asset to the pulling off of the best Detail Fest!
First I would love to say thank you to Max, without him giving us the resourses he did we would not have had such a crazy and wonderful time. Max wanted everyone to have a great time and I think he got exactly what he wanted.
Next our staff, we have a great staff at PBMA! Monique spent the day inside processing everyone's orders, while Lucas and our warehouse workers packaged them for the participants. Making sure everyone left with their orders. Melinda and Carlos manned the grills and served up the food for everyone, and then I caught them out back cleaning the grills with a foam gun. I will make sure those pics are up tomorrow!:p
Shannon took care of directing traffic and registration, while Ashley ran around and took pictures. She was nice enough to post them to the forum during the day for me, so everyone could see what was going on.
Jason took care of all the computers and the ordering area; assist everyone with making a purchase.
Dwayne answered questions about our Diamondite line and any other tech questions that came up. Darlene did all of our running around, had to send her to get Red Bull that I forgot to get for Justin!
Alfonso helped out with the wash station in the back, making sure everyone had whatever they needed back there.
As for our Vendors, NTS7, Edge Pads, Lake Country, you all were a great asset to the show. The chance to walk up to the company and get all the questions you have answered and then followed up with a live demo..well it’s PRICELESS! Im the MAN

As for the models and photographer, well thanks for coming out and work hard! The guys had them running all around and posing for photos. They signed posters and mingled all day. Lexxus was our announcer and assisted Max and I with keeping the show moving along well. Not to mention Lexxus brought a challenge for Justin...her car! It was one of those you see Justin post with befores and afters and we just are truly amazed.:applause:
Metro racing team was awesome! They took time out of their day to display some killer race cars, not to mention the West Coast Chopper!:righton:
Then there was Justin! If anyone has ever doubted his skills, they will no more. Watching him for like see magic happen, Justin is just unbelievable. I cannot thank him enough. Not to mention I spent a great deal of time with him and he is just a stand-up guy. Then we had Dennis Kelly, he did quite a few vehicles, including a blue vette with water spots that would not let loose.
Thank you both!

Then we have our forum members, everyone was great, Chris I am sending you a car bra for obvious reasons!:p Ed you are a great guy, was great that you stayed and helped us out with clean-up, had a lot of fun with both of you. Alice thanks for showing up early and assisting with directing traffice. Oh then there was Brad, I gave you the worse vehicle there and you made it beautiful, thank you. No doubt you will be successful in your next adventure. And thank you all for hanging out and going to dinner, had a blast with all of you.
As for Scott, Ernie and everyone else I may be missing, thank you for all the help, everyone really lent a hand. Not to mention my little fender bender you fixed!:o
I know I am missing a lot of thank you's but I appreciate everyone that was there, well except for the sheriff at the end but everyone else....
THANK YOU!!!:grouphug:

We have a great group and I am very proud to be a part of it, thank you.;)

Meghan,
Is this a typo? If you did mean girls instead of grills, you are going to get a lot of traffic on this thread.;)

The event looked like a ton of fun. Which I could have joined in. Maybe next year.

Sorry, I am a little tired today...:o

I would truly like to thank Max and the entire AG staff .... they were up and running at 8am as I arrived, and they never stopped till after the final client left around 430pm. Meghan, Jason, Shannon and all the rest (im embarrased as all names are not listed) were clearly in Detailfest mode from very early and nobody left unhappy !!

And a big thanks to Meghan :applause: , the unsung hero in all of this. At least you weren't the designated photographer again.

Everyone was phenomenal, and unbelievably courteous despite the pace (especially to Melinda and Carlos for the grilling, the burgers were excellent).

It was great seeing Justin in action, you weren't kidding about Lexxus' Camry being a challenge. I told him the next time it gets washed (not to mention detailed) will be DFIII.

DFII was as good as it gets!!

the police caught us before I could toss her in the rear , and bring her home for you. Meghan and Shannon had better looks anyways !!!!

I had alot of fun as well Meghan. it was great meeting Yourself and Max. Again thank you for everything you all have done for me and I do have to say I was flattered when you said you could see the Souveran on my car from across the parking lot! :D

It was great meeting everyone and even being able to give some advice to some detailers! Never thought they would listen to a youngster like myself!

Maybe next year I will be experienced enough to come down once more and give demos and help out some more. Again THANK YOU very much.

On my way down to Stuart from Savannah at 3am I was wondering if it was really worth the drive and possibility of falling asleep at the wheel going 80 down I-95. Thank God that I stopped and got a No Fear drink and powerbar, because I had a great time. The people from AG we're so friendly and helpful. I was amazed at how organized their warehouse was and how friendly an owner of such as large company, Max, could actually be. If you didn't know any better you would think he was just a normal worker for the company. I purchase a lot supplies and equipment from different companies in the past 6 months, but from now on I will always check "The Geek" first. It makes me feel good to know that when I buy something from you guys it is really appreciated and that I will be taken care of 100%.

Meghan, thank you very much for allowing me to detail Pam's truck. It was my pleasure. See all the others washing and all the supplies was like a addict looking at a briefcase full of his/her favorite drug. I was itching to clean something. Max asked me if I wanted to clean his daughters Lexus, but he said it a little to loud and Dennis jumped on it before I could speak. I would really liked to do a demo on it w/ the 4 and 1. Oh well there's always next time. For each thank you you've given in this post you deserve 10 times that amount. I got there at 8am and at first I was a little taken away and felt out of place, but you made me feel very comfortable and appreciate that greatly.

Max, Thank You for holding this event for all of us. It was great to meet you and to see how well run AG is. I plan on making this an annual event in my life. It doesn’t hurt that it’s held in Feb. when Chicago weather really sucks!

It was quite the weekend. Getting to meet everyone from AG and see where and how they work was cool. They all worked together to ensure that all of us had a good time. You can tell when people love their jobs and I’ll tell you it was evident that they all enjoy working at AG. Meghan ran her butt off all day and you all should know that there was tons of planning that this girl did for this one day festival. Big round of applause to all of the AG staff for taking care of us the way they did.

It was also a pleasure to meet the outstanding vendors that were there. I used a rotary for the first time under the guidance of Aaron from the Edge. He is a visionary and very passionate about what he does.

Best of all I got to meet many of the forum guys and hang out mostly with Justin and Bradley. You two rocked on that nastya$$ Ford truck. Sorry I didn’t help but I was kinda busy.

Meghan - I'll direct traffic for you anytime!;)

Thanks Again Everyone!
