Stupid question.........

Are these good or bad?

Okay to use these?

If not......... recommendations please.

I've had mine for 4 years & they're still great. I just use them for wheels now. Moved to the waffle weave now. One of those can literally wipe the whole car down.

I converted to A Waffle weave towel after I purchased a dark color car. Cobra is expensive but well worth the cost.:xyxthumbs:

Okay guys.....I get the message. :(

Looks like I needs to convert too. :)

Lol......thanks to all that posted.:D

Same story, i used to use them, now they are on wheels duty

I have a couple of Absorbers here, bought them 7-8 years ago, might have used them 5-6 times each total.

While they're much more economical in the long run than a real leather Chamois, I never really personally cared much for the Absorber's material, preferring the Dutch made Water Sprite myself.

Other's mileage may vary of course, but I always liked the Water Sprite a bit better.

Since seeing one of Junkman2000's youtube vids some months back "drying your car with water", or perhaps called "The Pooling Rinse Method", I try as often as possible to use this insanely simple, but effective method, by sheeting the water off the vehicle.

Saves a whole lot of wringing, and makes drying considerably faster IMO.

I have a dozen of them in various stages of wear. They are great for lighter colored cars. I try to use them less on my black Mustang because over time I was getting swirls. Currently I use an electric (shop vac) or gas blower (leaf blower) first, then a large MF towel. This minimizes the amount of contact with the paint and the weight of the towel.
