I see your book The Art of Detailing is out
of stock. Do you know when it will be in?

Thanks
Jim

Hi Jim,

Thank you for asking about the second book I've written. Sorry to say but in paperback form this is now retired and/or a collector's item depending upon your point of view.

It is still available as an e-book.

E-book version of The Art of Detailing

The updated version, is this book. It has everything The Art of Detailing has plus more.

If you click the link in my Signature Line, it will take you to a page where you can purchase or download all the books I've written.

Hope this helps...

Hi Mike

Thanks for your response. I thought your
book "The Complete Guide to a Show Car
Shine" was to complement your second
book.

I will place an order for the complete
guide.

Thanks
Jim

It is... it's an updated version which is a compliment...

There was talk about re-publishing the original book for people that like to have first editions. This was Bob McKee's idea and while I liked it I also have seen people comment that after purchasing the first edition and then finding out the updated version has ALL the information in the first version PLUS more new information, then these people are sad about their purchase and even miffed.

So in my own collection of car detailing how-to books, (I have all the books I bought when I first started out), I have approximately 4-5 of the first edition as keepsakes.

All the rest of the first edition books out there in the world are now... collectors items.

Future episode of Pawn Stars:

Rick Harrison: "What have we here?"

A first edition "The Art of Detailing" by Mike Phillips.

RH: "What are you asking?"

$1.5 million. The info alone is worth it. :dblthumb2:
