Hindsight... :dunno:

some very cool looking rides Mike!

Thanks Tim,

I'm thankful to all the people that own these cars that are going to take the time to come to Autogeek and basically hangout each day while we're filming as they wait for their turn to shoot their segment.

Some of these people I've known just because we're all in the "car world" and some I've just met as a nature of the business, one thing for sure though everyone involved are all genuine nice people, the kind of people you would love to have as neighbors.

As I type this we're about 10 days away from shooting the next season and behind the scenes there's a lot going on and getting a great collection of eye candy cars and the people behind them is just one part of the process.

Re: Pick your top 5 favorite cars

this because I would like his contact info, details on the chevy and asking price.
chris<pixelmonkey>:D

I can get you this information.

The owner Mike is a SUPER NICE GUY, he's all about helping others as well as being a absolutely car crazy. He' offered to bring us any of the cars in his collection and while they are all cool I chose the Carryall because they're rare and unique plus this one was recently painted and I think the person that did the wetsanding, cutting and buffing was off to a good start but the paint is hazy from mass swirls throughout the finish.

We're going to fix that.

Re: Pick your top 5 favorite cars

This is hard because there's some pretty cool cars in this list. I would have to make two lists,

1. Cars I like or think are unusual
2. Cars I would want have if I could have the cars I pick

1. Cars I like or think are unusual

1955 Ford Crown Victoria - Always loved the glass roof
1939 Graham Spirit of Motion - I like the Shark Nose
1959 Oldsmobile - Pretty much any American car built in 1959 is cool
1959 Impala - Horizontal fins are cool
1959 El Camino - Horizontal fins are cool

2. Cars I would want have if I could have the cars I pick

Don's 1934 Ford - Are you kidding? a chromed-out, blown Hemi?
Tommy's 1970 1/2 Camaro - Cool as a cucumber and it has a 468 BBC
Steve's 1969 Camaro Pace Car - It's a cool convertible Camaro and a Indy Pace Car
Bob's 1977 Shelby GT350 - It's a real Shelby, what's not to want?
Blinky's 1948 Cadillac Convertible - Date night car

I like them all though...

:D

My top 5

1-Dons blown Ford . And I don't like Fords but that is one bad ass truck! And yes it has a Hemi !!!!!

2-Mikes 67 Chevelle 396

3-Genes 63 Vett split window very sweet

4-Richards challager with a 440 ! I would love to race that thing !

5-Carlos 1963 Plymouth Fury 440 wedge . Can't wait to see that car .

But to be really honest . I love all of them ! Lol

But to be really honest . I love all of them ! Lol

Heck any one of them would be a great "toy" to have in the garage while the daily driver sits out in the driveway filled with jealosy...

I'm looking forward to listening to all the celebrities share their knowledge and experience with these cars.

Sam Memmolo and Dave Bowman are walking encyclopedias of car knowledge.

Don Garlits? The experience he's gained over the years would take another lifetime just to share...

I've never met Bill Stephens or Tommy Johnson Jr. but I'm looking forward to it.

I've worked with Bruno and Matte and they're just as nice and fun in real life as you see them on TV

Ted Jones is kind of like Sam and Don put together, this guys knows something about every car and every person in the car hobby...
