In my experience...a detail spray for clay baring.
Ingredients...From DG #951-952 MSDS (Is there any wax in it, or not? Does it really matter?)In theory a quick wax should contain wax, but not all actually do (some are sealant type products instead). A quick detailer could well be a wax containing product, it could be a sealant type product or it might contain neither and simply be for removing very light soiling.
So basically, there is no definitive answer!
It seems to me that there is no real difference.
Except for the difference, ofttimes, in price-points...:iagree:
In my experience...
Detail Sprays...labeled Quick/Quik, or otherwise, are used:
-Per Mike Phillips' post (#3)
-Clay 'lubes' (as you've mentioned)
-Waterless Wash(es)
-And, as some folks say: Spray onto a wet-vehicle to help reduce: Water-spots...
Also as: "Drying-aids". In these regards:
Is DG's Aquawax a: (Quick)Detailer Spray, a Quick Wax...Or both?
Ingredients...From DG #951-952 MSDS (Is there any wax in it, or not? Does it really matter?)
-ALCOHOL(PROPYL)
-SURFACTANT
-POLYAMINODIMETHYL SILOXANE
-FRAGRANCE

I'd prefer Aquasurfactragrant.Maybe they should change the name to Aquapolyaminodimethylsiloxane ?
