The FINISHER - Updated FLEX XFE7 15mm Orbital Polisher
First a big thank you to Bob Eichelberg at FLEX Power Tools North America!
While we we're at the 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Bob Eichelberg gave me one of the updated FLEX XFE7 15mm Orbital Polishers aka
The Finisher!
One of the improvements to the updated design is to close-off the upper cooling vents.
The other update is the addition of cooling vents built into the backing plate.
This particular unit is the #54 Production Unit, which will go into my collection of prototype and low number production tools.
Here's a few pictures showing the factory installed 6" backing plate on the left and the optional 5" backing plate on the right.
