art, thanks for sharing/making this video. it looks like it performed very well, please let us know how it holds up (more concerned about the extension) over the next few months if you use it often on other cars. also, what kind of pad were you using?

Yeah I'd say out all the things that would concern me the most at this point of my creation/machine. Is in fact the extension. I am thinking of just having 1 coupler. However, after coming this far making another extension piece is a walk in the park. :D

I got the pads from Kevin Brown (BuffDaddy)

I used Meguiar's D151 and a Meguiar's Polishing pad. Also, I put it in the description of what I used in the video description on YouTube. :)

I am going to have to figure out how to keep doing more work actually since I am moving by next month. So in the next few weeks. (but more on that later, one day at a time) :dblthumb2:

and thank you very much for watching and for your feedback from the very get go of my idea coming to life.

Next is trying to make my own pads. :buffing:

Also, while I do feel the extension holds up pretty well. (not sure the longevity it puts or takes away from the machine)

I am thinking of shortening it because the pad is already cut down pretty small and with the extension piece. It leave a big gap of margin of error if the machine should tilt to the side.

(Forgot the name of what I am trying to explain)

but it's like trying to point at a small dot on the wall with a 10 foot pole vs the tip of your finger. Both can be done but it's harder to do with the 10 foot pole.
