Northstar Firefly Wax. Never heard of it. Looks hydrophobic lol.

This must be having a social media push because it started popping up all over for me. They also have a show car wax with less durability.

With the line continuing to be blurred between wax and ceramics (i.e. liquid ceramic waxes), I don't think hydrophobic waxes are hard to find. It's coming down to their longevity now in the US.

The UK still has some great wax manufacturers that are producing hydrophobic waxes lasting at least as long.

Must be because that is where I first saw this product being advertised. I did some quick research and found it's highly regarded among those that use it. Won't stain plastic. Similar to Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax in application, but lasts a lot longer and is very hydrophobic.

Wowo's contact 121 claims a contact angle of 121 degrees, which if true, is more hydrophobic than the majority of coatings on the market.

When I first saw the post and watched the video, I dismissed it figuring it was just another sealant labeled as a wax. I've seen other sealants with hydrophobics that good or better.

Then I looked them up and it does actually have carnauba wax in it. With both the wax and the polymers in it, it seems more like Collinite 845; though I will give them credit for having better hydrophobics than 845.

For a boutique past wax, the price isn't terrible.

I was thinking the same (collinite 845)
I miss using that stuff
I'm going to take a trip down memory lane soon

Dodo’s supernatural line has has had a hybrid wax since 2012. I had won some ShineCraft hybrid wax. Good product with good durability. Looked really good.

Gyeon Q2 Wax seemed to offer coating-like hydrophobics, easy to apply and super easy to buff.

Why did yall put the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car?
I've never understood that

It's an optical illusion, pictures from the southern hemisphere get converted to right way up when you see them but it swaps left to right and vice versa. If you look at the picture upside down, it's hunky dory.

Gotcha.
Why don't planes fly over Antarctica?

I've never understood that
