Let me start by thanking Nick @ AG for allowing me to preview the new WG products. Thanks Nick.
Wolfgang Uber Wheel Cleaner is a wheel cleaner you can feel safe about using & actually does a good job of cleaning.
As soon as I sprayed it on, it started to work. It does have a chemical smell but not overpowering like Iron-X. It’s a straight forward product to use. Spray it on, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, agitate, rinse. While the cleaner is on the rim it begins to change color while it’s working. However if you use it in the direct sun it starts to dry pretty quick as would be expected.
Between the weather not cooperating & some road trips the rims I used haven't been cleaned in awhile. I only used the Uber Wheel Cleaner & a standard wheel brush along w/ a Daytona. Pics are in order (hopefully) - before, during, after for each rim.
The other side
I must admit that when I received this my first thought was "Great, another wheel cleaner that's no better or worse than any others" but after cleaning 8 wheels I will be adding this as an intermediate solution b/c its strong enough to clean & brighten the rim w/o having to worry about damaging them. A great go between when a mild cleaner won’t do & WB may be to strong or you have a questionable rim.
