I prefer to not reverse park into a spot because if I get hit I'd rather the taillight bumper damage, not the headlights because some car's they can cost 2-4k each.
Most expensive production car headlights, Bugatti Chiron, they list for $164000 per set according to Google. But if you want cars that we're actually likely to see on the road, Audi and Porsche matrix headlights, between $5k-$12k depending on model. I don't know if that's USD or AUD, either way it's too much.

I'm just the opposite
I would rather a fender, hood or headlight get damaged then a quarter panel
Go figure

Our 2020 Transit Connect 2.0L GDi LWB Cargo w/ new custom winter wheels. we swapped the wheels because we're having the 19'' Axe wheels shipped to CalChrome for plating. Most noticeable.. is that we've used the Sopami Car Coating Spray as a precoat and this was done before snow or the salty roads.. That's one hell of a shine on a 5 year old van that's seen it's share of rock chips and dings.
