Our car industry was quite dead before most of the Chinese brands arrived, but they are disrupting the new car market significantly this year, mostly because of what's happening in the middle east. Here's a table of what's happening in our market, all the legacy brands are down, and all the Chinese brands, and Tesla, are up, obviously because they're EVs and hybrids. Ford has taken the biggest sales hit, but some, maybe most, of that is because the Ranger is on stop sale due to a curtain airbag fault they can't fix yet. They can't even go on demo drives apparently.

Good thing you live in N.C. Bunky, those Dakotas didn't survive up here and those you see, well, you could see from one side of the bed to the other.

I think I have a new favourite combo, both have Carpro Reload 2.0 topped with TW Minute Wax. Fantastic gloss and super slick feel, and the blue on the Qashqai looks even deeper. Not sure of longevity, but Minute Wax can easily topped up after each wash, dry, wet, or as a spray and rinse wax.

Out and about today, hasn't been washed for a while, but it hasn't gotten dirty either.

Went to a sale, didn't buy anything.

The difference between the black and silver showing the dirt spots from yesterday's rain.

The real reason for the drive, I knew I was close, when I bought it, it had 132+ on it, so now I know I've driven it 100,000km in the 10 years I've had it.
