The Power of Duragloss Squeaky Clean

Since I had requested this product be made to precede coatings, I never really tested it on bad paint as I would have always been compounding and polishing before coating. I was presented with an opportunity I couldn't pass up. This 2010 Lexus had been coated by me with OG 2 years ago. The coating seemed to hold up well after washing as it was sheeting very well. However, the drip stains from this mirror were disheartening. I honestly don't know why they bit into the coating like they did.
Anyway, to remove it, I thought I would first try the SC with a mf pad (I think it was the cutting pad, but it was an Optimum one and they're not labelled) and my Rupes at about speed 4-4.5. The after shot was done only after one pass with SC. I was very impressed to say the least. You can see the reflection of the Rupes in the door.

It appears the stains were topical and the Squeaky Clean did its job. Good to know there was not any etching taking place.

Sort of puzzling why it made those stains like that. Wonder if it was mostly water staining after washings, or if it was residue from rainfall.

Care to elaborate more on this? Is this a paint cleaning cream, or a spray like Eraser or Griots Pre Wax Cleaner? Looks interesting. Nice results. !

If I recall correctly, it's a similar consistency as DG 501, but doesn't stick to the inside of the bottle. I guess I recall richy thinking that was a strange characteristic of the product.

Bill, that was residual from dripping down from the mirror after being washed. The owner was saying it could happen up to 6 hours (!!) after being washed. What a huge PITA that is!

That is one of the totally cool things about SC...it doesn't stick to the bottle whatsoever. Kinda looks like Mercury that way!
