The "What Did You Buy For The Car Today" Thread

Ordered a DIY Detail clay towel from Detailed Image. They have a 20% off sale through the 25th. That pretty much covered the shipping. Think it's 20% off on everything.

After Christmas going to pick up a Hercules ( corded) polisher from Harbor freight. Believe it's $119.00 but through 1/2/25 it's $89.00 with an Insiders Club membership and the membership is $30.00 for one year. So it's a no brainer on the membership. Chances are ill buy something else at HF in a years time.

New tire gauge...... real rubber tire

Technically these are for my black wheels, not the FJ, because I'm over black wheels now. Every second vehicle is coming out with black wheels now, and there are too many old utes and 4X4s running black rims in my area. I was originally looking at VHT Graphite, but they didn't have any stock.

If and when given a chance to clean under the van, I'll set the van up on jack stands and using this long hand brauch which is a soft microfiber design to clean parts like the coil springs, shocks and other areas under the van. Using some of the red.,yellow, blue, or gold wrap I'll make these handles for each area just so I don't cross contaminate the wheels.
Gotcha.
Have you ever tried something like this for that

I got a new spray gun and foam cannon. I still need to get one more 3/8 inch quick connect.

@Flash Gordon

yes, I have a set of these with different hairs, as I've tried those with the plastic or nylon hairs and didn't like them, so for the price of just one of those brushes, I was able to get 4 different hair brushes from that "A" site.. I suspect one spring day, I should lay out all the brushes and take a photo of them that I use on the van..

Sounds like a plan
You could make a thread about your brushes 🤔
