Did a theft recovery detail and all I can say is OMG! These guys had this truck for about one month and just trashed it.

I used the Dupray Carmen Super Inox Steam Cleaner for most of the job. I had to use some chemical for the carpets and for that I used Biovap degreaser which is made to be used with the steamer. I also used 303 fabric cleaner in a spray bottle for pre-treating spotting.

Other chemicals that were used was Folex, Pro's Coice Red 1 and Stain one for the headliner.

Finished up with 303 Aerospace Protectant on the dash and Pinnicale Leather Conditioner on the seats.

Very heavy with the pictures but for this one I thought it was appropriate.

The first few is how the truck came in to me. Truck was washed and dried before the detail.

For some reason the next two pictures came out like the interior was tan and not creme? Since I do not alter photos it is what it is for color I guess. The final pictures look creme as they should.

It took 9 hours to complete this transformation and was very happy with the outcome. The stains on the headliner in the back seat area would not come out. I was able to reduce them but not remove them, i gave up after the headliner was showing sign of color removal of the fabric. The seat belts were also very tough to get clean, I gave them a good soaking with 303 fabric and a good steaming. I am sorry I do not have a before picture of the truck but it just came from the body shop and just needed a bath to get the dust off. All in all it was a positive experience on perseverance to get the job done.

Thanks for the looks everyone. :)

Kevin you did a fantastic job :xyxthumbs:
This is why if one of my vehicles is ever stolen I never want it to be recovered!

Amazing recovery Kevin!!! That thing was gross but you made it look brand new.

Sweet job Kevin quite a save. Headliners are a real challenge.

Thanks Guys. I am glad this wasn't my truck as well. While driving it to my shop and back to the customer i could feel other vibrations and when you applied the brakes you could definitely tell the rotors had been warped, so the truck was bag driven for sure. The owner was going to trade it off as soon as I was done with it.

I think someone should make a video showing off his steamer and skills I would be highly intrigued to watch!

We will have to see, I am not the best in front of the lens :)

Thanks sir! Yes, had the steam on low wrapped in a microfiber towel. The stains in the rear part of the headliner I tried to remove them with the chemicals first as I did not want the stains to set with the steam. I guess i didn't matter as the stains would not come out anyway.

Your theft recovery job looks almost the same as my everyday jobs :(

Nice job Kevin :)

Nice job Kevin :)

Thanks Flash. Yes some people do "live" in their vehicles. Just did a GMC Denali Yukon the other day that had pet hair from front to back. The wood grain dash was all scratched to %^&*.

Bag driven! I get that one Kevin. Like bag skate only in a vehicle. Most vehicles stolen in Arizona end up in Mexico (like my cherry 1985 Toyota truck) so no recovery.

Really nice work.

Amazing job. How long did it take you to complete that? I know steam is really powerful and can clean stuff quickly but that truck was really trashed! I would have loved to see the face of the owner when you gave him the keys back ;)

Thanks you. Took me 9 hours. Removed the front seats and console to get at all the crud that was slopped everywhere. I didn't get to see the owners reaction because it was a job done for a body shop. They must have been happy with it as I have gotten another vehicle from them since.

Holy smokes, the back looks like someone wrestled a pit bull lol. Great job.
