Nope! LOL I was going into work Saturday morning. Pulled into our shops parking lot and hit the only patch of black ice right next to the building and in my normal spot. i couldnt stop and hit the pipe bollard that protects the corner of the overhead door. I normally keep it very clean so this kinda of sucks to look at. On top of that I am salary so working Saturday was free. Good thing i guess is the bumber cover needed a re paint and that headlight was yellowing.

yeah gonna need a new fender too. everything still works and cash is little low so it will look like this for a bit. I may try and compound the red off so it doesnt look too bad.

Man i wasnt sliding but a 1 or 2 mph.

You can even actually remove the paint transfer by hand. A pad and whatever polish or compound you choose.

Then just buff it out by hand. Test spot first btw.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I for sure will use this as practice but the panels will need to be replaced anyways so Im not real worried about the outcome. the fender is dented bad, the headlight is broken and the bumper cover is cracked.


I think Znig22 was being sarcastic about the rotary. At least that is how I read it. I got a angle grinder and a wire brush that would not it out real quick. LOL

A little lacquer thinner on a cotton towel and you don't even need to break out an extension cord.
