Thinking about Dr. Colorchip... Is it too late?

So, come spring time I want to delve into the touch up paint world. I've read Dr. Colorchip is a superior product, so I figured I go with that. However, my front bumper has a lot of road rash which leaves me questioning: Is it too late?

My pictures aren't that good since I decided to take them at sundown...

Any help is appreciated. I'll probably still do it no matter what, but I want opinions from people who have done this before.

That doesn't look as bad as the rash on my old civic. I used Dr. colorchip and it came out looking pretty good. Not perfect but a noticeable improvement.

I wouldn't expect a perfect repair, but it will be very hard to tell that a repair was made from a distance.
