This is how I dry my pads.

When I'm working I can't stand a dirty pad so I wash mine several times while doing one job. I spray them with APC and rinse then until the water runs clear and squeeze out the excess water and then press them against a Water Sprite and then this is how I cut my drying time by 80%. While I'm using another pad I just stand them up in front of a box fan and they dry in no time. These are LC CCS pads.

Do you paint them with rustoleum before or after they have dried? :-)

Actually, I use a fan as well to speed up drying time on pads that I need to put back into service next day.

Great idea with the fan! What APC do you use? Not sure what a water sprite is. Could you elaborate? Have you tried a pad washer?

I use Purple Power diluted 50/50. A Water Sprite is just a synthetic chamois. I get them at NAPA. I also pickup up the pads while doing this and tap them on my arm every 15 minutes just to shake any excess water that gathers in the dimples. My pads are usually dry within an hour.

Necessity is the mother of invention......:props:
