That's one elegant car that has all the curves, etc in all the right places
 
Damn never knew my idol had such great talent besides writing music!
 
Some of the features remind me of the Morgan Aero Coupe. But that car is just on another level.

It think it looks very little like the Morgan. The shape of the grille is clearly reminiscent of Delahaye, as is the headlight shape and placement, the overall fender shape, and the taillight and deck shape.

In fact, it practically looks like the grille came off of a Delahaye.
For the record, I think the Delahaye is the most elegant Marque ever made.
I suspect James Hetfield saw Boyd Coddington's WhattheHaye, a hot rod inspired by the Delahaye, all hand fabricated out of steel, by the way. I saw it unpainted at Boyd's shop.

Hetfield's car is nicer than Boyd's, I think, although I think the C pillar would look better if it had a rounded corner.
