This is what posi-trac looks like...

Here's Frank wiping some metal polish off the side of the Meguiar's truck. If you look closely you'll see Earl the Plumbers 1970 El Camino with 512 Fire-Breathing Big Block Chevy and a Posi-Trac Rearend.

His is the shorter looking red thing next to my red Chevy...

Earl came by to visit with his dog Copper and when he left he lit em up...

And this my friends is what posi track looks like with a BBC melting the tires off the car!

I'm pretty sure Earl's out shopping for a new set of tires...

:D

Right on. I see your buddy Earl dropped the hammer in his BBC Chevy! I'm sure he needs to pull chunks of rubber out of the rear fenders now!

That El Camino sure looks great! Probably looked even better in person when he was frying those tires.

The funny thing was Earl told me last night that he recently got a speeding ticket in one of his six red cars. That was one of the smokiest burnouts I have ever seen.OLD CAR GUY`S RULE!!!

Looks like he let off just in time to stay near the posted speed limit and before he hit the left hand turn :dblthumb2:

Nice wheels :iagree:

Bob

Note:
There should be some money coming from the County,
for him applying a "protective rubberized coating" on the road. :D

My 69 Camaro had a 12-bolt 411 posi rear.

That car was a blast. It could lay down rubber if you gunned it at 15mph on N50s.

Lol, great call with My Cousin Vinny! :applause:

Thanks for sharing, Mike! Those were some nice lines running down the road. I bet it smelled glorious! The best part would be if Earl is trying to claim a warranty repair on the tires

That was funny with my cousin Vinny. She`s the marrying type.We were too far away to smell the smoke.I think someone got a pic.

Next scene...Earl is sweating bullets on hands and knees with scrub brush and bucket in hand, as the chain gang supervisor prods him with the high voltage poker and yells at him "SCRUB THAT MESS UP!!!"

Meanwhile, back at the hall of justice.... as the bailiff and judge chatter with menacing laughter....

"Ha Ha, That Earl thought he got away with it....Ha Ha Ha.... that is until we saw that thread on AutoGeekOnline with the very well photographed smoking gun...Ha Ha Ha.."

That ElCamino must have some serious Ballz!! Nice Holeshot Earl!!

Looks to be some nice bead blasted Alu BB heads there.

Years ago, around '79 up at Elkhart Lake Wisc, I had almost worked a deal for a custom Can Am White '69 Vette ragtop (Black top-Interior), full tilt front end, and an all alu ZL-1 427 engine totally bead blasted from the water pump to the tranny tailshaft, and all the rest chrome. Was a magnificent ride, no corners cut, but couldn't bring myself to let go of my '67 vette ragtop in a trade plus cash deal for his car.
