I'm on a couple of forums relative to my vehicle and I was asking some questions about blk paint maintenance. This one guy suggested I check out the AG site. That was a excellent suggestion because the info here is amazing. Actually, it's a little overwhelming right now. That was about four weeks ago. Since then I've been buying myself and my truck x-mas presents to the tune of around 400 bucks from AG. I've always been pretty particular about cleaning my vehicles but now reading this stuff...oh boy!!!!! the things I'm learning. Thanks everyone who posts their knowledge on here for "civilians" like me.

:welcome: to AG! The knowledge you will learn here can be overwhelming! You will never be able to give your truck a quick wash again! :D It is addicting and you are going to become OCD ... if you are not already. The plus side is you will have the best looking ride in town! :D
 
Welcome, you can learn a lot about detailing on AG. You can also spend a lot of money.
 
I have found that this hobby while expensive initially, becomes quite reasonable in the long run. Most products last quite a while, and most tools have a long shelve life too.
 
I suppose, just like anyhthing, the initial start up costs are always there.

On another note, I have noticed that just about every thread that I have read tonight (5hrs) your there so I have a tech question about this site if thats ok. I'm trying to change my sign pic but am having issues with this. What's my problem?

your signature or avetar ?? The avetar (small pic in top left) can be changed under usercp. Just use the browse factor and make sure pic is not to big to be resized. Jason is our forum guru .. I just get to visit !

as for sig pic, I believe it was turned off or is turned off when avetar is present. Something to do with space originally.

Welcome to the site. I know what ya mean-I thought I took good care of my cars finish but I was clueless until coming here.
 
It's great having the purdiest cars on the block I can tell you that. I had my neighbor come out and tell me I need to stop I'm making every one look bad. I proceeded to put souveran on the wifes Fusion to really rub it in :D.
