Thoro matic extractor

Hmm...interesting, fiberglass body, certainly is different from the usual rotomolded (although they do have others with roto construction).

Sorry I don't have any info, let us know how it works out if you pick it up.

Yes im not sure what to think of it. How do the specs look? I am not well educated in extractors yet as I don't have one. The only problem I see right now is that I would have to buy a wand to do auto interiors.

Ok...the specs...you have to take those with a grain of salt because...well, you just do.

The water lift looks very good (150"), it's got dual motors
The pressure looks a little low (60 psi), most advertise 100 or 120 or the real high end machines go 200 or higher.
It's kinda heavy, although for that tank size it's kinda normal
Current is good at 15 amps (no special circuit required)...but does it have a heater? I don't know if I would buy an extractor without a heater but it depends how you are using it, I guess....some people use an immersion heater in a bucket.

I think the thing you have to ask yourself, there is a 10% off no exclusion sale running right now, you could get yourself a new Mytee Lite for $788 ready to go with a warranty etc.

Disclaimer: There have been threads where many, many members have criticized the Mytee Lite, as well as the company, for the construction of the machine, it's reliability/durability, and the company's response to that. It should be noted that perhaps just as many members chimed in that they had no problems with the unit (as did Mike Phillips talking about the one he has in the Show Car Garage). It seemed that the people who used the machine every day were the ones having problems as opposed to the occasional users.

It says heated in the ad. I was under the impression the current sale still excludes extractors. Maybe I misread the fine print. Thanks for the feedback on the specs! I do like the sounds of the mytee and aztec hot rod.

The only thing that's excluded in the no exclusions sale is Rupes polishers: Autogeek's Promotions

Although I understand if you phone in your order some consideration might be given on that topic.

If you are comparing the Mytee Lite and the Aztec Hot Rod be aware of a couple of things. The Lite now has 130" of water lift. The Lite requires a 20 amp circuit, although it may be ok if you don't run the heater at the same time as the vacuum. The Aztec only requires a 15A circuit, because it won't let you run the heater and the vac at the same time.

i wouldnt get it.. you're mobile right?.. seems like a pain to carry around

get a $200 steamer with attachments and a carpet brush attachment for your DA

Yes I am mobile. I already have a steamer. Been putting off getting a da carpet brush, but may just finally get one. Thanks!
