Tips for using Griots Buffer on black paint?

Hi I used Griots buffer before but was told to use it to apply compound as I was using it to remove compound. I am going to attempt to use it on my cousins black pickup truck (tons of scratches any help in getting rid of the swirl marks that are already on it from everyday use? Thanks

I use a GG for polishing, applying wax, basically anything you can use a PCXP or (probably a Flex) for. Including some fairly serious work:

It's probably a work truck so you can only do so much
