I know we are not supposed to talk about Ad-- products, but in an effort to find something related, I will have to speak of them. Does anyone have a recommendation for a similar type dressing as the Super VRT from Ad-- that I can get from AG?

Mike or Nick, feel free to chime in.

I just recently applied some Tuf Shine and have been been very satisfied with it.

TUF SHINE Tire Clearcoat, tuf shine tire dressing, permanent tire shine, permanent tire sealant

I really like the Meguires NXT, it lasts a long time on the tire! hope this helps?

I didn't wash my car for 2 weeks and I'd say that they all lasted about the same. I did apply 2 coats per tire. After I washed it the first time they all looked about the same. Pretty dull IMO.

I also have Adam's Tire Dressing (got a sample bottle when I went to visit Detailing in Irvine, CA and IMO it is nothing special.

out of those 4 listed above. I would go with CarPro Perl

(sorry I am still learning photography)

I like adam's VRT but I ended up going with meguiar's tire & trim gel. It's prety close.

The PBMG tire dressings are all very good! I use either BLACKFIRE, Pinnacle or Wolfgang. They all are easy to apply, provide a nice look and last long enough for me. When I get new tires they will get Tuf Shine.

I've used the VRT and it's as good as any quality rubber/vinyl protectant. When it comes to tires I'm lazy. I like the ability to clean them once really good, then seal them up really good and be done.

What I don't like is anything that would turn my wash mitt black if I wash my tires to get dirt and dust off of them or if I rub up against them with my hand or any clothes they turn my hand or clothes black. I don't like the oily wet-look but a dark sheen like rubber looks when it's brand new. That's just me though....

For most people, a balance of dark black plus a little shine and easy application and removal, I like the Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Spray. We use it for some of the cool cars we work on here on Thursday nights. Clean the tires really well first, then shove the spray nozzle into a tire swipe and load the foam up with some tire dressing, then apply to the tire.

Quick, easy and gives the tires a nice dark shine.

I'm a fan of Poorboys bold n bright gel. It's water based, dries to the touch, good shine (not overly glossy), lasts a good while, and it has a cleaner in it too so you can use it with rinseless or waterless washes.

I really like Adams VRT. It has a more natural look that I like and it is very easy and neat to apply...
