To those of you who have put the 5" backing plate mod on your Rupes 21....

How do you like it? I have recently purchased the MK II 21, and noticed there is some slowing down whenever I get to a curved area. Would having a 5" backing plate with 6 inch pads give it more power for those curved areas? Discuss...
