Too much for a rinseless wash ?

How much dirt/grim is to much for a rinseless wash I want to get started on trying it out I drive my truck daily so it gets the typical bugs, road grim and rain spots .. is rinseless ok for this ? Does meguiars make a good rinseless wash ?

Are you close to any coin-op car wash places or do you own a pressure washer? Typically if the car hasn't been washed in 2 or more weeks and has a visible layer of dirt accumulation I will head down the street and spend a couple bucks to pressure rinse all that loose dirt off.

Last month I thought I'd push the limits and try to RW my car that was the dirtiest its ever been (for a RW). I let my MF towel be a little more wet than usual and started my first pass on the roof. The drag and sound it made as it tried to glide over the paint gave me chills. I stopped what I was doing and went to go pressure rinse my car. LOL! I suppose I could have pre-soaked the panel before I started and that may have helped however elected not to do so at the time.

Yes I have a pressure washer and for lots of mud or dirt I would ..just don't know how much you can scrub like bugs and bird droppings off with just rinseless

presoaking with N914 or similar in a spray bottle as a waterless wash will definitely help reduce the need to scrub while doing a rinseless wash
 
Honestly, as long as the vehicle hasn't gone off-roading, and there's no caked on mud, I use rinseless on pretty much everything. If it's really dirty, I just pre-soak the hell out of it and use microfibers drenched and dripping with solution. The lubricity in these products are amazing and to me, if your careful, you won't induce marring or scratching.

Pressure rinse should remove most of the bug guts & bird poo. After the rinse, presoak with N914 and then the RW should be easy at removing what's left over.
 
I would pre-wash somehow to get the bigger stuff off and or loosened up. I notice the ONR and other RW I have used struggle with dried on bugs the most. If I plan to waterless wash, but have a botany class on my front bumper cover, I spray the bumper with Tarminator and let it dwell for a minute or two, then blast them off with a pressure washer or good nozzle. This takes care of the bugs almost everytime. The RW/WW can usually handle the rest. Also, the dirtier the car, the more towels I would likely use.

What do you use for the dying towel ? Just a microfiber or something better ?

Pre wash, and I use a bug sprayer with ONR mixed in it to spray the vehicle down first.

Also in the winter its not uncommon for me to take it through the touchless and go home and wash it. Just be smart.

What do you use to wash it ? Microfiber or mitt ? What about drying it as your washing it ?
