topping carpro essence with mckee's or pinnacle black label v2 coatings

anybody tried this yet? wondering also if there is a visable difference in gloss between these coatings for those that have used these.
 
I topped Essence with PBL Diamond Paint Sealant and had great results!

I know you asked specifically about other coatings... But I'm also curious about other's experiences topping Essence with different (non-CarPro) LSPs. Sorry, don't mean to thread jack!
 
ya I bet that does look good- very underrated sealant
 
I've topped essence with optimum gloss coat, CarPro Cquartz, and Blackfire crystal coat. Can't comment on the Blackfire because of the nightmare it was to apply so I opted for Cquartz, however, glosscoat and Cquartz look great. Overall I really enjoy essence.

What's your usual go to pad for applying Essence?
 
I topped Essence with PBLv2 with no problems except the excessive shine. I like using Essence with Meg's Microfiber pads, cutting or finishing depending on the amount of cut you wish.
