I have the original (z-010?) and it stopped blowing any liquid. I changed the cone and weighted tube, but no difference.

Before I tear it apart 'cause it's no use to me now, hoping someone's got an easy fix.

Does the tube that you changed also contain the spine looking apparatus that actually delivers the chemical from the reservoir?
If so then it is operator error.
If I'm not mistaken, then the "spine" (for lack of the actual term), needs to protrude slightly above the weighted tube.
Can you post a pic w/o the cone attached?

This is what I replaced. Tornador Cleaning Gun Replacement Kit, cone replacement kit, Tornador repair kit

But it looks as tho there are additional replacement parts available, such as:

Tornador Valve Body

Tornador Siphon Tube

Just wish I new how to trouble shoot where the problem is.

Ok. There is a small toothpick or smaller size tube that runs inside of the weighted tube that, from my experience, should protrude just past the end of the weighted tube.

Looks kinda like dental floss (????) and runs from the tube in the reservoir through the gun , with the weighted tube slid over it.

Pre-installed by the factory.

Looks like this...

Dehn's Innovations, LLC, Supplier of Patented Clay Products, Car Tool Tornador

Good luck and happy detailing hand...:autowash:

I'm not at the shop now, but yes. I think I even hooked the Tornador up to the air comp. to test if air was coming thru it and inspected it for clogs; but I just got back from taking my kid to the doctor for a stomach thing, and can't recall precisely. It is blowing air in any event and I tried holding the trigger for 10-15 secs. when I re-assembled to see if it needed to be primed somehow.

Solution/Air lever in the up position.

Wow.
I last took mine apart in 09 because it stopped applying solution. I took the tube off and clipped the end of the inner tube with a set of nail clippers and pulled it towards the end so that just a bit was protruding and it worked fine.

My only experience dealing with the inner tube.
Kinda hope some one responds to your plight so that I can add the info to my knowledge if the situation ever arises again.

Edit: I had no fear then because the supplier that I bought it from suggested to send it back to the factory for repair. Cheap fix at that including shipping.

Your site says:

Place the pickup tube, the one with the ball on the end that hangs down in the jar in a bucket of water? Is that user replaceable?

On mine the weighted liquid pickup ball has a screen in it that will plug up may wNt to check that.... Also sometimes while using the small hose will freeze up in just air mode I all ways keep a warm buckeye of water near by

My tornador black seems to get stopped up rather often. I keep a jar with water handy. When the cleaner seems slow coming out or does not come out at all, I put it in water and run until it is spraying up a mist storm. Then, it will work fine for a few more rounds.

It seems the screen in the ball was the culprit. I discovered this when I blew some air thru it and the screen went flying never to be found again.

Question is, any worries using the Tornador with a screen?

Yes and no.
The tube may clog. The screen serves a purpose.
Perhaps try a patch of nylon stocking around the ball until you get a replacement??

I always mix what I feel that I will use in a given session due to the fact of product breakdown or cloudiness if stored for long periods.
Also, use distilled water in solution mix to lessen chance of cloudiness of said.
