Tornador upholstery technique?

Wondering what techniques and products people are using for upholstery and carpet cleaning with the Tornador.

Are you pretreating and then hitting the area with water from the Tornador? Spraying cleaner from the gun directly?

Any insights would be appreciated.

when I use it on carpets and seats I like to run it over every square inch of the fabric. it beats up the fibers and loosens up any debris left after vacuuming. then I follow it up with hot water extraction. put a fan onit to quick dry and touch up anything left behind.
