Here is a video I made with Iron X Soap Gel showing how to do a touch free cleaning on plasti-dipped rims.

I know I missed that one spot by the bottom spoke.

i plastidipped my wheels before and it was cool but after a lot of spirited driving plus consistant 93+ weather here in socal i decided ill never use platidip ever again..i did 5 coats on each wheel and the dip would not peel in big chunks at all and it became a nightmare...i use 4 cans of goof off and a pressure washer and even that wasnt cutting it ..it was a nightmare lol

it did look good while it lasted though and wonder if this could have prevented the fading of the wheels plus strength of the dip

Great insight on using IronX soap dilluted instead of of straight IronX on wheels. I am going to try this method on a clients new matte paint wheels and see if it works as well as on plastidip wheels.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using AG Online

Try good ole WD40 soaked on a rag to take the plastidip off, will work wonders,...

actually did try wd40 and it wasnt working..almost seems like the excessive heat almost baked the dip on to the wheels themselves...anyways back on topic

good job OP

I used carpro Trix to remove plasti dip from my buddy's wheel well. He couldn't remove it so I tried it and it literally melted it off.

I have to agree. It's a pain to remove.

Good job on the video getting them clean.
