I recently had back surgery and as a result, one of the things I won't be able to do is wash my truck for a month or two. I drove around Metairie and New Orleans this past weekend looking for a touch free car wash and I can't find one. I can't pressure wash right now either - too much twisting, reaching, etc.

Does anyone know of a touch free car wash in the greater New Orleans area?

I don't know where exactly you live but I know there is one on river road in Destrahan on the west side of I-310 and there is one on highway 51 in Laplace. There is a Pelican Point branded one on air line by zephyr's stadium in Metairie but I dunno if it's touchless or not.

I don't know of any around the metairie/new orleans area. Typically all the touchfree ones I have been to are ones at like gas stations or self service. None of the ones I've been to that have employees working are touchless. There is a relatively new car wash just past bonnable on veterans its on the left side is heading toward new orleans. Its pink and looks kinda retro.

But like previous have said, there is one in destrahan and the one in laplace on hwy. 51 is a touchless.

That one on vets near Bonnabel isn't touchless. If i remember correctly. It is a nicer one than many others i've seen. I live right by there so can check it out after work.

Hey I'm from Kenner and the last time I went to the Shell station at the corner of West Esplanade and Williams it was touchless.
You mean the kind that sprays high pressure water back and forth as you sit still in the car. I think it is still touchless. Check it out. Hope this helps. Hope you are feeling better and get back in action soon.

The Exxon Station (click to open Google Maps link) on the corner of Vets and Causeway has a touchless wash. Not sure how good it will be but hey, it's touchless.

Being down because of medical issues does suck bad!

If you're interested I'd be willing to come by to do a wash. Maybe another member or two can join us and we'll make a little meet out of it.

What ya think? :props:

It's not touchless.

IN & OUT EXPRESS CARWASH - Home

I agree it does look nice compared to some. I do like the conveyor belt system since it won't screw up your wheels. That's always been an issue for me. Swirls on paint can be fixed a lot easier than knocked up wheels.

Thanks for all of the replies. It doesn't matter it anyone works there of not. I just get the basic touchless wash anyway. I knew the Pelican Point and the new In & Out was not touchless. Causeway and vets and Williams and vets are fine with me. Thanks again.
