Hi guys does anyone know if a touchless car wash around this area? I'm new to the area and all I see are soft touch car washes

A lot of Mobile gas stations have Touchless offerings. Check out their web-site locator: Find Gas Stations Near Me | Exxon and Mobil Fuel Finder

I think there's a couple Touchless bays at a Self Serve wash on Plymouth rd. 1 is between Beech & Inkster and the other is between Wayne and Farmington.

Also, I'm renting out my shop in Troy for people to wash their cars in the winter time. $25 per hour. It includes all products & machines.

Dave, where is your shop? I live near Crooks & Auburn.

I've passed by a few gas stations including Mobil but the car wash was closed. Do they usually close when it's -13 degrees Celsius?

I'm thinking of going to a coin wash just to spray it but I don't want the water to freeze on my car.

The car is just so dirty and I usually spray it down at the coin wash and do a rinse less wash when it's warmer

It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow. I'm guessing most washes will be operating tomorrow. I used to pass a self serve / Touchless up in Romeo on the way to my wash, and it was constantly being repaired during last year's extreme weather.

I might have to stop by as well, I saw your other thread on DB.

AGO member discount? lol

Are allowed to use our own products/equipment?

I wonder how many of us are in Mi.

Feel free to bring your own stuff, but I have a full line of products I'm certain you'll enjoy using. Plus, a ton of vacuums, tornadors, extractors, compressed air, excellent lighting, etc.....

Maybe we can do an AG meet up? Weekends only though.

I always like trying new stuff! But when paying for your facility, I'd stick with my stuff to get the job done asap.

What about a season pass?

I could do a meet up for the early part of the day, can't promise I could stay long depending on what day it is.

Yeah, I could do Saturdays!

I'd love to give you guys carte blanche of my place but keep in mind that this is a full time detail shop that is typically open Mon-Fri and many times on Saturday. I'm only able to open it up to the public on certain weekend days. For me to do this during the cold winter months I need a minimum of 3-4 people to participate otherwise it's not worth opening my doors to heat/light my building. I think I'll post a separate thread and see if it captures more Metro Detroiters attention.

Totally understandable on that.

i am at square lake and woodward and i am dying to try a tornado. i just hit the spray bay today and did a rinseless in the garage. the truck looked like a salt block, was driving me nuts.

That shop looks very nice.

David, your shop looks awesome, makes me wanna co.e home for a bit to check it out 👍

You're right around the corner! We've got 3 different kinds of Tornadors actually. Feel free to come by and give them a spin.
