Great work! Looks totally different now:)

Thanks a lot Sicoupe :dblthumb2:

Talk about a make over! That paint was trashed! Beautiful work.

What was the process?

Thanks a lot Mike :dblthumb2:

the process is as follows:

wash:
2BM method, mf washmitt, local car shampoo & APC mix
after wheels were cleaned and decontaminated with Sonax Full Effect

Paintwork Decontamination:
Bilt Hamber regular clay

To remove the tar from the lower parts of the paintwork, I used the Sonax full effect. it worked
there were plenty of tar spots

Car was rinsed and inspected. In the sun, only swirls were visible. actually the swirls were hiding many defects, bird dropping stains, orange peel, loads of scratches.

I proceeded with some wet sanding, mirka 1500 grit.
I took the DA used the mirka 2000 and 4000 sanding discs.

:buffing:

Makita, LC & Sonax pads and Menz FG 400 and 203s

I spent more time on the correction stage to ensure that no traces are left. this made refining easier.

Topped the paint work with Collinite 476.

Glass:
DP glass restorer/Sonax profiline glass polish on carpro rayon glass pads

Trim was treated with CG new look trim gel

Tires had a local dressing applied
