With the spring semester approaching in 2 weeks I decided that I needed a bit of a vacation to recharge the batteries. Just so happens that my friend's mom wanted her 05 Prius detailed. Unfortunately this car does ~90 mile round trip 5 days a week for work and they're right on the coast and the love bugs have definitely left their mark on the front of the car so short of wetsanding the front will never be what it should be. Anyway, here are the results.

Products
Foam gunned with Megs Deep Crystal
Washed 2 bucket method with Megs Deep Crystal
Rims and wells cleaned with Simple Green 6:1
Clayed using Excel fine clay
Entire exterior got Mez Intensive Polish and 4" LC light cut pad
Megs #80 via megs polishing pad
AIO via megs polishing pad
Poorboy's Natty Red
Stoner's MS on tires and wells
AIO on rims
IG on glass

look good, i'm just pissed your wearing shorts.

Looks good, nice work. Weather looks pretty good down there so I may have to drive my car to Fl. just to detail it, but wait, then I'd have to drive it back home and it'll be dirty again. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait for spring lol.

Definitely not worth it...The drive would just make it worse than when you started. I'll be ONRing my jeep once I get back to get rid of the road grime and I'll probably throw on another coat of 845 or #16.

looks good. careful putting two hands on the head of the PC like that. It makes it easy to accidently apply too much pressure which substantially bogs down the polishing.

Try to use one hand on the head and steer with the other, or just hold it with one hand if you can. I like going one handed B)

Good work and Im sure she appreciated it!
