Alright.. so.. I have a thing for nice watches, not neccessarily expensive stuff but just nice looking. If I could Id buy a TAG or a Bulova... heck even a Rolex if I had the money but I wont ever go there. Theres a couple things I really like to look good and thats my sunglasses and my watches.... and I like my car to shine too but you all know that.

Ive been thinking about buying a new watch but Im unsure of what to get. I really have a thing for Fossils.. they have a really nice selection.

Heres a few Ive been looking at:
Kensington - Black

Scope Oversized - Black

I REALLY like this one.
Grey IP - Twist Series

This one is no battery. The anodized blue piece spins and winds the watch with your movement. Downside is it only stores 40hrs worth of power.
Knight Automatic - Blue

These 2 are cheaper watches but I really dig them both, simple but real nice looking. They are also no battery with skeleton back.
Prague Black - Automatic

Prague Grey - Automatic

Hey man, I really like the scope oversized one, but then again I only like to wear black watches in a more dressy setting. Also, my style is I like round watches so it kind of knocked out a lot of your choices. So if you have a silver watch or one with a leather strap for everyday, then my choice would be the scope oversized.

Thanks for the opinion! I dont own a black watch yet... I have silver, gold, also have silver with black face. No solid black though... they really caught my eye lately.

Although I did have a classy black face black metal band watch years ago but it was stolen when my house was broken into. Lost a few watches when that happened. :(

I have a couple watches including higher end ones like Breitling, but believe it or not the watch I usually wear the most is an ESQ Aventuro or something like that (Movados other line). It's just a sharp, clean looking watch, even my partner has a watch from their line he usually wears as well. Not that much, think it was 2 or 3 hundred or so last year at Zales. It's just funny that I've actually gotten more compliments on that watch then my $$$ watches.

Don't know much about Fossil but they seem good for the money, not sure how those other ones are like 30 bucks and automatic, have to be cheaply built, like those fancy looking ones you see in magazines for like 100 bucks or so but eventually break or fall apart. That GP Twist is pretty good looking though that you posted. I'm a big watch guy, those high end ones like Hublot etc just blow my mind, but that's out of my price range right now LOL.

I've got a few expensive watches and like collecting them. It's tough finding a less expensive watch that really has any level of quality built in them. This is particularly true when you start looking for an automatic movement. Here's a link for one I picked up and seems to be a good timepiece.

Well I found out that I have some "performance points" saved up at work... basically over time employees accrue points for excellence and things of that nature. I found out today I have enough to get either one of these two:

Citizen Calibre 9000 Minute Repeater

or

ESQ Squadron

Im still gonna get one of the Fossils since the one I pick from my points doesnt come out of my pocket. :)

Ive nailed down either the Scope Oversized - Black or the Grey IP - Twist Series.

That's the model I was talking about in my post above (fancy looking one you see for sale in magazine ads). They are crap, you can find post on line with people who literally had the watch fall apart upon opening the box. A guy I used to work with had one. Sucks b/c they are very sharp looking, his stopped working and he kept wearing it just for its looks LOL.

Avengeance - did you just look at ESQ after what I said lol? It's Movado's cheaper line. I personally love mine, I still have my Breitling, Movado and sold my Maurice Lacroix. Yet since I bought this ESQ a year ago, I've worn it more then any othre watch, not sure why. Just has a classy, sharp look to it, I've honestly gotten more complements on it then any of the higher end watches I've had/have. I just had a rep come into my office today and I was showing him a file online when he said "nice watch". I never got that even with my MLX. I can't remember the name of my model though, it has this blue face that looks gorgeous in light, think it was the Aventuro or soemthing like that? I got it at Zales in the mall as well.

If you start looking at higher end watches let me know, I have a new connection that has unbeatable prices on wholesale b/c of the volume he does. Haven't used him yet but know people who have, and he's authorized for a few makes that even stores can't carry.

Pssst..... hey buddy, you need a watch. Look what I've got in my coat. This one says Rolex and this one says Citizen, take a look at the box, that's the real insignia alright. :D

Grey IP - Twist Series
Style: ME1005
I would go with this one.

lol

I too have had numerous ESQ's ... great watch and much more affordable than Movado's for same company backing them. Currently I wear a Seiko Arctura ...not necessarily a fan, but loved the design and lack of battery.

I'm not much of a watch guy, but I have two Citizen Eco-Drive models that I like a lot. Here's why: I like an analog face, but want an alarm. I like seeing the date, but hate remembering how many days any one month has and making a correction, if it's leap year etc. The Citizen takes care of that for me.

out of the free ones, i like the citizen one. black faces dont go with everything as the citizen does.

I have two watches, Timex and a Rolex. About the only time I wear my Rolex is when I'm going out or to church. Don't even wear the Timex anymore. To keep up with time, I use my cell or pager.

the only one that popped out at me as being incredibly nice looking is the Kensington, lol. and out of all these posts, I'm the only one who thinks so... oh well.
