Tree Hits My Truck!!!!!!!!!

Man that is terrible news! Did the whole tree fall over or did a big branch fall? Must have been all the rain and wind I guess. A neighbor here had a limb fall during a storm and smash a huge section of their fence. Would much rather it be a fence than your truck!

Sorry. :(

Aw man that's messed up =( well at least you're ok. You can replace your truck anytime, but not your life.

Too bad its not a total loss. I had a total loss on my other LSB M3 Vert.... It was nice to reset the odometer...

the truck will be ok just a window mirrow and small dent on the colume piece . it was just a shocker hopefull thats all .that mioght be like qa couple grand though. u neeed body dhops and what they charge

trhland do you mind sharing how the insurance companies are taking care of this? I have very, very large tress on a small lot. All three of my neighbors have had a tree fall onto our property. They have always repaired the privacy fence and removed the tree. However, my insurance company said it doesn't really matter who's tree it is. If it lands in my yard, I am responsible for the clean up. So I have always considered myself lucky they have taken care of it. We have a tree Dr. come out every other year to inspect this one huge red oak and all other trees. We are always keeping an eye on them.

any tree that is hanging over on to your property is your responsibility. its that simple. the tree that fell on my truck was on my neighbors property. his home owners insurance wont cover it at all. and from what i found out eather would mine. so the only way to go is go to my insurance on the truck . it sucks but thats all i can do. theres a 500 deductable. what the neighbor did do is he came over my house and offered to pay half of that 250 i excepted it. hes a really nice guy. and i told him he really should prune some of his trees. and he said he would.

Thanks nice that he paid 1/2. Better than 0. Thanks for the information.

I am so sorry to here about your nice new truck! At least you are ok.... keep us posted. We all care about you! - Lauren

Sorry to hear about that, I really hate that for you. I would check with a lawyer about his homeowners. Maybe the laws are different here in SC. Keep us updated. I'm really sorry, I feel for you....

Yeah... At least in kentucky.. If your neighbors tree damages your property, its your deal...UNLESS you have sent them and their insurance company a letter saying that you're worried about said tree falling and damaging your stuff.

Sorry to hear man.. And if a tree is going to fall on my stuff, I would just assume it be totalled. Just my personal opinion. Glad to hear the neighbor was a nice guy though.

thanks guys turns out it really wasnt to bad just a window a small dent and a mirror. will be fixed this week
