I picked up my LGM a few weeks back and finally had time and half way decent weather to try it out. I decided to clean my driver floor mat of my daily driver. 167,000 miles of abuse and the carpets have never been clean more than a vacuum occasionally. So needless to say it was in bad shape but I believe the LGM did a good job.

I first gave it a good vacuum then used a brush to get the dirt that was deep in the mat loose then vacuumed again. Then sprayed with folex, scrubbed and extracted.

+1 but I'd say its time to replace that floor mat. LGM seem to be a pretty good bang for the buck.

They work great and you can't beat the price especially when you can find it at $50 or $60 on sale.

That won't be happening. I really don't want to spend another dime on this car. Hope to get rid of it this summer.

I tried to get one but couldn't wait for the shipping. Bought a bissel spot clean instead, looks the same and heats the water just as well. Same price too

WOW!

The suction is so good it ate a hole through your floor mat :xyxthumbs:

This makes me want to try out the rug doctor hand attachment on my carpet.

I bought one a couple of years ago and was quite surprised how well it did and all for $100.

I use my Pro Heat a bit differently then most.

I use it for rinsing and vacuuming and put no detergent whatsoever in the hot water tank. I spray some gleaner whether an all purpose cleaner or Folex on the area, agitate with a scrub brush, then use the Pro Heat to rinse and vacuum.

I like to remove as much of the detergent as possible so it doesn't attract dirt and grime plus it leaves the carpet looking fresh.

Also, fill the rinse tank with as hot of water that you can supply from the tap. This allows the unit to heat it up faster for a more thorough clean.

Yeah Bobby that's how I used mine. My tap water gets to almost 160° so I have very hot water to use.

I have a rug doctor an use the attachment, work pretty good, doesn't heat up the water, but overall works good.

They are the same unit but one will have the proheat and the other without.

Good job OP! The power of folex, elbow grease, and LGM.
