Hey guys (and gals), I'm thinking about buying a bed cover for my Tacoma. Anyone have any advice on what brands and styles to look for? I was looking the "Full Metal Jack Rabbit" which is kind of a "roll top desk" cover.

I like the extang Tri Fecta...or the one from Advantage....I am getting one this fall...well built and lifetime warranty...

My buddy has a roll up and had problems with it binding at times...and he spent good money....he may return it...

Do you know what brand your budd was using? The things I like best about the FMJR is that it uses my existing tie down rails for mounting and mounts flush to the top of the bed instead of coming up and over.

not sure of the make ...but it was a flush mount....cover was even with the top of bed rails...will ask him ....

We have a Fold-A-Cover on our '05 Tacoma Quad Cab. It's solid, it's lockable, almost water tight, and it folds up...

Here are my pics of it:

Opened up- it sits on the bed rails... only 1/2" though and blends in very nicely:

I got it from a local car installation center... they carry all types of products so they ordered it and installed it... no complaints from me :).

I have an UnderCover on my Tacoma. I've had it on for over a year now and it still looks brand new. It's lockable ,watertight and has a little LED light in it. All of my detailing gear is back there and I never worry about it getting wet or stolen. I can take the top off and put it back on in a matter of minutes, it's so light. Here's a few old pics of it I debadged my truck and the UnderCover right after these pics.

I used to have a pace edwards roll top on my dakota. It was great and water tight. The fabric started coming off of the top and I didnt really use it very often so I ditched it and went with a tool box instead. I think snug top and ex-tang make some nice hard covers.
