Going to try out a Foamaster gun and am looking for shampoo that will put out enough foam when hooked up to a garden hose with decent pressure. Anything more economical then the next? Thanks

I used Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam and obtained pretty good results. I don't have the softest water but was able to get some decent suds laid down. I think I mixed it at 1.5 ounces per container.

This is the best I've tried also. I've tried about 20 different shampoos.

DP Extreme Foam works great.
Megs hyper wash is good also if you are looking for a gallon size.

I have used Optimum Car Wash at 10:1 in the bottle and got nice foaming with my Griot's foam gun.

is a foam gun/lance only good if you have a pressure washer and are doing multiple cars? or can you get a gilmour foammaster II and attach it to your hose and only use it to wash one car? you still used the TBM after letting the soap dwell for 3-5 mins right?

Advantage of foam gun?

There area many different answers. However, I think its generally accepted that you foam and rinse the car first before a 2BM to remove as much grit and abrasive dirt as possible.

I foam the car dry. I found rinsing, foaming, than rinsing is a waste of time. You could also do a 1BM and just use foam as your wash media and a rinse bucket. I've tried that, and it didn't seem much easier.

Thanks for the input guys. I will try two, DP Extreme and Chemical Guys Honeydew in my next order.
