So what was it, like 10 years ago, that Turtle Wax came out of their shell and introduced the Hybrid Solutions line. Since then, they've kinda gone SILENT, unless you count the Mister Cartoon line but that's gone MIA, so seeing this product really peaked my interest...and I bought a bottle today through Amazon

So, just curious, anyone else going to try it out, looks very promising ️

It'll be months, if not years before it gets over here, and then, as DFB said, we'll have whatever price mark-up to deal with.

Also, I've used a handful of the many products Sheepstar's tested, so I have an independent comparison to help with what products are worth my time, shelf space, and money.

Not that the price is outrageous but at $20.00 for a 16 oz bottle that puts it at roughly the same cost as some heavy hitters in this class like Feynlab Hybrid Ceramic Detailer and Collinite Beadcoat. If I were to guess I would expect it to be a slightly above average product much like many of the other Turtle Wax offerings.
Looking forward to the reviews.
I find the statement on the front of the bottle quite humorous, " guaranteed for 100 washes " . So if I wash mycar every 2 weeks that means one application will last 4 years??? Or maybe they mean if one just applies it to their mirrors or perhaps just their hood the whole bottle will last 100 washes??? In any event it's a rediculous statement. Great way to hype up the customer. Dazzle them with a BS statement right on the front of the bottle.

Your characterization of modern TW products is incorrect. Have you tried them? While not the best, this is not your dad’s turtle wax. Maybe some outrageous claims, I’m sure it’s very decent

Yes I've tried and have several. I don't think my evaluation of TW products is off the mark. The majority of their products are slightly above average in performance and user experience. If they were more than that everyone would be talking about them and praising them almost daily on this site/you tube/etc. Nothing wrong with being slightly above average. They are better than a lot of brands but not as good as others.
That being said the whole " 100 washes guaranteed" statement is marketing Hokus Pokus. Industry leaders don't plaster BS statements on their bottles, they let the products speak for themselves, iE Carpro/ Labrocosmetica/Bilt Hamber/ADS/Feynlab/etc.

I think you have to spend 3x to get equivalent performance of stuff like TW Ceramic spray or Wet Wax. Meguiars is the only player in the same price range and their durability is half of a comparable TW product. There are a few outliers like a gallon of Tec582 but that's buying in bulk.

OK lets use the example of TW Ceramic Spray which is arguably one for of their best products. When purchased at Turtle wax it's $15.00 for a 16 oz bottle. Feynlab Hybrid Ceramic Detailer, which is arguably the best in its class, when purchased at Feynlab $19.00 for 16.9 oz. That's roughly 22% more. If great products in this class were really 3 times more then the TW Ceramic Spray would be the buy of the day but good/very good products are not much more $$.
I'm not saying Turtle Wax products are poor. I'm saying the majority of their products are slightly above average. So if the Pure Beads is a good/great product it will surely rise to the top. One won't need to try it as everyone will be raving about it.
 
$20 for a 16 oz bottle ?? I can get a gallon of TEC 582 delivered for $25. I was somewhat disappointed with their new Wax as You Dry. However, I really do like the TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray. I have gotten that on sale for as little as $12.

Great point about TEC 582. I have also had it delivered for $25.00 per gallon. A gallon of Pure Beads would cost one $160.00. Now there is a flip on quality products costing 3 times as much with Pure Beads costing 6 + times as much as TEC 582. The Turtle Wax Ceramic spray is only $120.00 per gallon.

My bottle was supposed to come yesterday but apparently it's coming Thursday, maybe I'll try it out this weekend

Turtle Wax makes some really good products. I just started using Seal n Shine as a drying aid every other wash. It's been working great since I don't have to wash my car nearly as much and a strong rain will wash the car without having to do a contact wash. Seal n Shine also does really good in any of the torture tests on YouTube.

Seal and Shine is awesome, way more depth than the ceramics. I know it's petty but if it didn't smell like dollar store cologne or hairspray, I'd like it a lot more.

As far as I can tell unless this has very good durability it will get shuffled out of the line up fast...
There is no gloss enhancement or slickness that I could see or feel.
 
Well since I ran the EN through the touch-free wash after work and put it away clean I decided to try Turtle Wax Pure Beads this morning.

The first thing I noticed was the spray pattern from the sprayer...perfect! Next was the smell, a very fresh scent, so far so good

Per the directions, 2-3 sprays per section and wipe it in and flip towel to buff...no problems. I didn't notice the grabby stuff but this product likes to be worked in, a good final buff leaves the finish leveled. Now I must agree I didn't notice slickness but if you've got a good base already laid down your good to go anyways🤌

I only applied it to the paint and trim, no glass as I've got DIY Detail Glass Envie applied there. I finished by used some FrankenDetailer on the rims and Pure:est tire dressing on the tires

It's supposed to rain tomorrow, ofcoarse, it's Father's Day, so we'll get to see the beading from this but we're still going to try and attend C&C as the rain is afternoon
