Check out MadMerc's post in the "Post a picture of your ride as it sits" thread........

Well I know this, very repreputable YouTube detailing channels that we know and love have reviewed this and it's been an across the board . Many years ago, when TW Endura tire coat was available, it was talked about here ALOT and still is, so rules seem to be selectively enforced.

If it is the "new Kool-Aid" seems like people are getting line to support that little stand on the corner by the picket fence

No doubt. Heard it's the real deal.

Don, a friend and fellow Buckeye here on AG mentioned it to me and I was already watching some of the vids. Once I heard our reputable YT'er noted above liked it in his comprehensive review, I picked up a few bottles. I've obviously not had long-term use of it but it's been on the hood of my sons Jeep for just over 1 week, several rains and a wash and will be on the hood until we sell it at which point I'll coat the hood to match the rest of the vehicle that is wearing 2 layers of CarPro UK and Gliss. Thus far the water behavior is excellent.

Stay tuned for more and some longer term updates as the Volvo XC90 I just completed and posted about in the forum is coated with it. I put S&S over top of D166 and not only was it a breeze but it's slick and glossy too. He's a friend so I'll be able to hear about it's performance anytime.

Pretty good beading. The roof shot has Beadmaker on it. The hood an trunk, Turtle Wax.

You’re really going to sell it? How much did you buy it for? And how much are you going to ask for it?

Going to put it up on Bring a Trailer Auction site. Most nice ones are going for between $9-14k. What I get all depends on who bids at the time. I'll put a reserve of course just in case as I'm not going to give it away. The market for them is hot and I consider mine one of the nicest I've seen of all the ones through (outside the rare ones with 20-50k miles vs my 86k) I also have all the records for it and it's had nearly everything done to it that would need done or has needed done. The list is quite extensive but it's essentially perfect.

End of day, my son is a great kids and likes it, calls it his car, but isn't in "love" with it for what it is. I understand, it's more my Jeep in that sense. I'd keep it but I sold off a handful of other toys and am preparing for my next one and the wife gave me the look so..... It really belongs in the hands of someone who will not leave it sit outside as I have to and honestly, it really shouldn't see snow. It's so so clean underneath that it needs to either go out west and "used" like a Jeep or get into the hands of a collector that will care for it. The latter is what I would do but it's not in my stars this go-round.

Just picked up a bottle for $6 & haven’t used it yet. The thing that I find amusing is who brought this stuff to market. Seems to be more legit than a lot of boutique coatings based on reviews from many.

One thing I know. It will be cheaper, easier to apply, as durable, as hydrophobic, & less headaches than most stuff out there - coatings included. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I’m sure somebody somewhere in the boutique detailing biz is trying to reverse engineer this stuff as we speak.

Turtle Wax new Ice Line seems very good. I have used the spray sealant and it works well. I think the shine is not as good as some of the more boutique products like CarPro Relaod, but on durability tests it destroys products 4 to 6 times it's price. I would not suggest putting it on top of a ceramic coating when the coating is still wet. I have tried doing that and I had to redo 2 of the panels for the customer. It seems like it doesn't play well with the coatings. Other than that, great stuff. Hopefully Autogeek will add it to it's line of products.

Define "wet" coating
