Saturday, I was helping a friend with touching up his 2018 Ram that got a nasty, down to the metal parking lot scratch. He mentions to me his wife's Jeep Cherokee has some spots on the lift gate that have bothered her since she bought the vehicle. I told him they were some form of rail-dust/fall-out contamination. Fast forward to today, I get the Jeep and take a look at the contamination on the lift gate and was surprised how little contamination there was when I was looking at the paint pre Iron-X. Photos show the little contamination that was there.

I only decontaminated the lift gate, then I clayed the paint and polished with my Rupes Mini, LC orange thin-pro, and HD Speed. Sealed just the lift gate with Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant. I would have loved to decontaminate, clay, and polish the whole car, but I don't think they want to spend the money. I did do a courtesy wheel cleaning, vacuuming, front windows/windshield, through steering wheel cleaning and clean up on the dash.

My friend's wife was very happy and so was my friend.
