Ultima Paint Guard Plus Questions

Ultima Waterless Wash + is my favorite rinseless wash and recently tried Ultima Acrylic Spray Wax as a topper for FK1000 and was very impressed.

Thinking about giving Ultima Paint Guard Plus a try as my LSP because of it`s ease of use.

Curious to see if anyone is using the newer version regularly and how is the durability?

How is the protection from bird bomb and bug guts??

How is it`s self cleaning performance?

I bought some last winter/spring so I have limited experience with it, so far it's worked very well.

It's been at least four months since I tested some pads out on my hood then used UPGP to seal. The hood does seam to stay pretty clean and still beads well.

My next order I'm going to get the new Acrylic Waterless Wash to use as a rinseless.

I really like every Ultima product that I've tried.

UPGP has always been one of the best sealants around, I have used and loved all the versions they have made! I usually do 2 coats! love the candy look!

Have not used UPGP in years, but was satisfied back then. Some say the new version is not as durable as the first. Same goes for their trim sealant. Dunno

Richard...I think some of the complaints have been that some of the new Ultima products sent VOC compliant and are now water based. Thankfully I am still working my way through the older version and haven't had a chance to compare to the new UPGP or UTTG.
