Any chance it could just be marketing? It wouldn't be the first time a company recommended a product for a certain use just to appeal to a specific clientele. Just a thought.
got some today and going to try out, going to follow it up with The polish then NXT wax. Going to working on a 98 Neon with over 200,000 on it!
My guess is that products specifically formulated for use with rotary buffers are formulated to become hot as the action of a buffing pad rotating against the finish will create heat and heat can make a product dry up and in some cases depending upon the ingredients in the product, it can make it gummy and difficult to wipe off.
Sounds like 105.
From my experience if you wanna get best and fast results, then you must use professional products like M105 and M205 with either rotary or DA, anything that you can get off the shelf like the ultimate compound in my mind is a waste of time cause productivity is no where comparable to the M105 even though some of the forum members achieved great results from them which is great but i will always stick with the Meguiars twins.
There might be times when 105 is too aggresive and 205 won't cut it. So what's wrong in using UC or have it as an alternative? From my experience if you wanna get best and fast results, then you must use professional products like M105 and M205 with either rotary or DA, anything that you can get off the shelf like the ultimate compound in my mind is a waste of time cause productivity is no where comparable to the M105 even though some of the forum members achieved great results from them which is great but i will always stick with the Meguiars twins.
