So I first gave this product a shot back in March of this year. Picked up a kit from my local Advance Auto.

I applied to a customers car as a small upgrade over a basic sealant package. The coating went on super easy and super slick. Darkens and enhances the gloss by a significant amount. Thought to myself, ok cool went on super easy and gave a decent immediate result.

Fast forward a few weeks, customer returns for a maintenance package and HOLY COW. This stuff is super hydrophobic. Way beyond anything you can buy at Advance. It’s hard to explain but you can tell the water doesn’t like being on top of the coating. And I also have to say that the paint remains slick months after the original application.

I am months in on multiple cars and I would say this is definitely worth it as you can squeeze a few cars out of a single can. The coating seems virtually untouched after months.

why is no one talking about this coating? It’s in a spray can? It’s not “Graphene” or “ceramic”? Meguiar’s doesn’t put 9H hardness on their package? They didn’t say it lasts 5 years? This stuff has already outlasted some coatings I’ve used that were supposed to last 7 years.

vastly overlooked product in my opinion.

Agreed.

My best friend since the 5th grade, I used some on his GMC Sierra, and he was amazed with the final results. That was back in early September. He reports that it still is performing beautifully. Very easy on / off, very slick after application, leaves a very rich, glossy finish. It reminded me a lot of the Xpel Fusion Plus we use at the shop, which isn't as easy to work with - upon initial application.

Nice to hear! I have some in the garage that I want to apply to the wife's ride before winter hits and we'll see how it holds up.

You had my attention when you said "super slick".

I just watched this video HERE and am now even more interested based on his description of its characteristics. I was going to give Gyeon Can Coat a shot and both of these are the same price.

Looks really good I must say.

I have this on my truck currently.

Definitely was the slickest paint protection product I have ever applied to a car I’ve owned. Application was also super easy and the paint looked blacker than black.

I’ve been washing it every two weeks as I am able to, and no matter how dirty the dirt just releases off the paint and the mitt just glides.

I am very happy with this product overall and am curious to see how it performs in the coming months.

Autozone has the Megs HPC on clearance for $33! Get it while it lasts!

EDIT: And also Megs HCD is on sale for 5 bucks at Walmart. I mention this because Markus Kleis (ex-Megs employee part of the HPC development team) recommends it is a good temporary "topper" for those of us who can't help ourselves of needing to wipe and touch the finish after a wash. Others may be okay but I believe in the whole synergistic idea when it comes to brand products.

Did you mean HCD?

for me personally megs has definitely earned credibility in my eyes. They avoided buzzwords, no overpromises of durability and hardness, pitched an accurate representation of what the product does and in my opinion overdelivers on what many would consider to be on par with a professional ceramic coating.

I had Adams Graphene Coating on my truck and on all the horizontal surfaces I had crazy bad water spots in under a 1000 miles, so tonight I polished it all off and applied the Megs coating. I found it on sale and I was going to go back to CarPro and try the SIC but I’m having health issues and took advantage of the energy sprurt I had tonight.

I liked the application, the pad was big and thick and way easier to use then the typical foam/suede block I’m used too, the aerosol can was also nice to deal with as its chunky and no more worries about dropping the glass bottle, application was fast and super easy.

I say all this with a grain of salt as every Megs LSP I’ve used can be described the same way but performance drops off fast and a letdown follows. I’ve been impressed with their new Ceramic Wash in the orange bottle and decided to give this a shot. Hopefully it gets me thru the winter. On a side note while the hood and roof was curing with the Megs I used Uber Rinseless SIO2 for the first time on the rest of the truck to clean up any polishing dust and I gotta say it blew me away. I mostly use the Ech20 and the Uber is far slicker, flashes drama free and it really added some gloss.

Just picked up the last one at my local AZ for $28.65 :)
