I wanted to provide a very good update to my original call for help in the thread HERE.
So here in New York we had a 44 degree December day and i took advantage of it to try removing some of the swirls and to get a coat of Collinite on the car for the winter.
I set out with the knowledge from the help of this forum while researching the latest product and techniques over the past 3+ months. Since the days are short I skipped the clay/Nano mitt step, knowing my results would reflect this but I had no choice.
I would officially call this my first correction in over 20 years using the newest tools - I think it came out pretty good given the conditions.
Here's what I used:
CG Mr. Pink Soap
2 bucket wash with black grit guards
PC DA
Hex white pads
Hex black pads
Collinite 845
CG Professional MF towels
You can see the amount of swirls in the first pics and how I was able to get the Subbie flake paint to pop - absolutely amazing!
I can't thank you all enough for the help and guidance!
